HO’OPONOPONO

‘Ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness’ as made popular by Morrnah Simeona and Dr. Stan Hew Len

I am so grateful to have discovered the wonderful gift of Ho’oponopono, I have found that the benefits of this mantra meditation are tangible and immediately effect my sense of clarity and calm when faced with uncertainty. A practice that I now use on a daily basis and would like to share it with you, that it may bring more peace and harmony into your daily life too.

I have used this mantra while sitting in the dentist chair, while sitting in traffic and especially when faced with a difficult or challenging person or situation.

Inspiration comes from clarity and by simply repeating this mantra either out loud or in the mind it can be a powerful tool for stilling the ‘Mind Chatter’ allowing for the light ‘truth’ to shine through by getting the negative thoughts and data out of the way.

So what is the Ho’oponopono? (ho-o-pono-pono)

It is an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. . . it means to make right, to rectify an error. The purpose is to connect with the ‘Divinity within’ on a moment-to-moment basis and to ask that movement and all it contains, be cleansed.

Similar forgiveness practices were performed on islands throughout the South Pacific, including Samoa, Tahiti and New Zealand. Traditionally hoʻoponopono is practiced by healing priests or kahuna lapaʻau among family members of a person who is physically ill. Modern versions are performed within the family by a family elder, or by the individual alone.

How do you heal yourself with Ho’oponopono?

Self-Identity, meaning taking absolute responsibility for self and everything we react to. Self to self relationship from the perspective of myself right now, the human body/mind, the ego/personallity facing the many selves of my entire being from the lowest two dimensional level through the level of soul up to the highest creator connected self. It is then my whole self meeting the self of whomever I’m engaged in healing with and meeting that whole self with nothing but absolute love and desire to dissolve whatever is causing pain.

You don’t have to focus on any particular issue. . . this goes beyond the intellectual mind or what ever it is in you that brings this feeling, stress or issue to you. . . Simply repeat these phrases over and over, either in your mind or out loud.

I’m sorry

Please forgive me

Thank you

I love you

The most powerful phrases here are: “I Love You” and “Thank You”. The powers of Love and Gratitude are unquestionable in every self-empowerment teaching, school or religion.

Use this meditation healing prayer ritual daily for a total release and cleansing. Ho’oponopono helps us to heal ourselves and through healing ourselves it can have a ripple effect and we can heal others too.
